    The school, located in the parish of Holy Trinity and built close to the church, first opened in 1851 and was enlarged five years later. Built as part of the Church of England's National Schools scheme, mainly from money donated anonymously, the school was variously referred to as Brompton National School, Holy Trinity School, or just Trinity School (and occasionally Brompton Council School). The school closed in 1984.
