- Administrative history / biographyThis was the principal Gillingham Wesleyan Methodist congregation, sometimes referred to as "Gillingham Chapel". In the 1960s Gad's Hill Chapel (see M5/2/Bp) closed and merged with the Christmas Street congregation to form St. Andrew's Church. A new church was opened on the Christmas Street site in 1966.
